Our food-grade and temperature resistant drying sheets for use with the Sahara Dehydrator are great for holding liquids for fruit leathers, sticky foods, or small items that might fall through shelves. They are expertly designed for use with liquids or high water content produce.
There are 2 different materials available: Silicone & Non-Stick Teflon Coated. There are no right or wrong choices. It’s simply a matter of personal preference. Both dehydrator mat types can also be used for cooking & baking.
Silicone Sheets

Original Brod & Taylor branded Food-grade and temperature resistant Silicone Drying Mats for use with the Sahara Dehydrator. Great for holding liquids for fruit leathers, sticky foods, or small items that might fall through shelves. These reinforced silicon mats are also oven safe and great for lining baking trays. Very durable and dishwasher safe, use them instead of parchment paper. PTFE and BPA free.
Teflon Coated Non-Stick Sheets
Size: 49 x 29 cm – covers full tray without impacting drying performance.
These reusable Teflon-Coated non-stick sheets are manufactured by our European distributor and are precisely cut to size. These Teflon Coated Non-Stick sheets can also be used for baking, roasting, and as a non-stick surface. Great for making Biscuits, Tuile Biscuits, Brandy Snaps and many other things, no fat, oil or grease is required. They are very easy to clean and provide a non-stick surface for produce, reducing the effort required to remove ingredients from trays.

They are great Silicone Drying Mats The Silicone Mats work great. They were used on the first use of the dehydrator; holding my rinsed/washed soaked chickpeas in place. The chickpeas would have fell through the chrome wire rack upon drying because the chickpeas/Garbanzo beans shrink upon drying. I am glad to have those Silicone Drying Mats can’t wait to use them again in the coming days.

Blueberry Savers! I used the silicone drying mats when I dried some of our blueberries and they worked perfectly. I wasn’t sure at first how adding that layer to the racks would affect the process, but the blueberries dried without any problem. The mats cleaned up easily and I can store them in the same case in which the metal racks are stored. Perfect!

No melting into racks! My first attempt at making liver and the pieces molded around the wire racks making removal a chore. I used the mats my next attempt for the first few hours then transferred the liver directly onto the racks and they finished beautifully and there was absolutely no sticking to the racks! The mats are a must.

Sahara mats I absolutely love everything about the Sahara Dehydrator including the mats. I have owned many different dehydrators in my life and by far this is the most efficient. The mats are the perfect size and are strong enough to hold my fruit for the fruit leather that I made for the Grand children. Love the whole unit

Work great Absolutely nothing wrong with these mats. They are a bit smaller than the wire racks, so they fit easily without fussing and allow airflow up the sides. Easy to clean. I store them in the zippered case with the racks. Last used to dry sliced green onions.

These mats are awesome! When drying smaller pieces of veggies and fruit along with tomatoes, these mats are perfect! Nothing sticks to them nor falls through the racks.

Wish we bought more. It’s great and so useful with the dehydrator. Great to use if you want to make fruit leather. Only warning is that if you do leave wet fruit (that easily stain) on the mat, it does stain. So get it dried as soon as possible!
